Amber Hernandez on tour in Florida with the Mexican U17 Women National Team

On August 14-17, 2010 South Valley Chivas Academy own Amber Hernandez will be touring the state of Florida with the Mexican U17 Women National team in preparation for the FIFA Women U17 World Cup which will take place in Trinidad & Tobago this September.

During the Florida tour, the Mexican U17 Women National Team will have games against the University of South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University and St. Leo University.

In preparation for the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup, Amber has sacrificed most of her summer vacation as she has been going back and forth for national team camps between Porterville and Mexico City, Mexico.

Amber who is a member of the South Valley Chivas Academy based in Porterville, is also the youngest member of the Clovis Sidekicks who play in the Women Professional Soccer League. Former USA National Women Team icon Brandi Chastain and Brazilian Team Sissi play in this league with the Sacramento Storm.
