Ex-professional and Mexican national player Vinicio Bravo joins South Valley Chivas as Technical Director

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Vinicio Bravo, a distinguished former player of Liga Mx giant Club America and Mexican National player, as the Technical Director of our esteemed youth soccer club.

Vinicio’s illustrious career as a professional footballer and national player speaks volumes about his dedication, expertise, and unwavering passion for the beautiful game. With his wealth of experience both on and off the field, Vinicio is exceptionally well-equipped to lead and inspire the next generation of aspiring Chivas footballers within our club.

Vinico’s professional playing career span from 1979-1990 playing for Club America, Tampico Madero and Atlante. He was part of the legendary Club America from the 80’s who won 3 Liga Mx titles. He has played along side notable Club American players like Alfredo Tena, Cristobal Ortega, Javier Aguirre, Carlos Hermosillo, Luis Alves Zague, Daniel Brailovsky, Carlos de los Cobos, and Hector Zelada.

His coaching career at the professional ranks consists of coaching stints in Santos Laguna, Puebla FC, Club Pachucha, Queretaro, Socio Aguila and Tiburones Rojos.

As Technical Director, Vinicio will bring forth his invaluable insights, strategic vision, and commitment to player development. His presence will undoubtedly elevate the standard of coaching and training within our youth program, providing our players with the necessary tools and guidance to excel in their journey.

Beyond his remarkable achievements as a player, Vinicio’s dedication to the advancement of youth football aligns perfectly with our club’s mission and values. We are confident that under his leadership, our young athletes will not only flourish in their sporting endeavors but also develop essential life skills and values that extend far beyond the pitch.

His knowledge and connections to professional soccer club personnel within both the Liga Mx and Major League Soccer, will serve invaluable to our players as it will give our players more opportunities to play at a professional level.
