South Valley Chivas continues to produce talented youth soccer players as proof of this is Dani Rivas, Valeria Rios and Jaybree Lopez who were recently selected to participate in Northern California’s State Olympic Development Program soccer teams.

They were selected respectively amongst over 100 players per age group.  Both Rios and Lopez were selected to participate in the 1999 state team while Rivas was selected for the 2001 state team.During the selection process players needed to attend three tryouts at which players were cut at the end of each tryout.

The Olympic Development Program is a national process for identifying and developing the best youth soccer players.
